Funerals

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant...Come and share your master’s happiness!” Matthew 25: 21

Losing a loved one is a difficult and emotional time in the life of a family. It is also a time when numerous decisions need to be made as we seek to honor the person who has died.

At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun in the waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the sacrament of the Eucharist.

When Someone Dies:

Please contact the funeral home of your choice to make final arrangements.  Then, please call the Parish Office at (262) 639-3616 to arrange a date/time for the services.  The pastoral staff will assist you in making plans for the Funeral Mass and Visitation.

If you choose to have the Visitation here at the Church, parishioners from our Bereavement Ministry will offer support and assistance to you.  They will also assist with the Mass if needed.
