COME TO THE QUIET

At St. Mary by the Lake, the church will be open for prayer from 6:00-7:30 pm on Tuesday evenings. This is a chance to step out of the busyness of our lives today and come into the quiet of Prayer. During Lent, the evening will begin with Stations of the Cross at 5:30 pm.

• 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm - Angelus and Rosary are prayed.
• 6:30 pm-7:30 pm – The Church is open for quiet prayer and reflection.

Prayer resources will be available, and all are welcome to bring individual materials. No time commitment is expected, and all are welcome, whenever you can be there.

The need for prayer is so great in our lives today. We have only to look around us to see what is happening. The quiet time spent in prayer can refresh the soul and help each of us along our faith journey. It’s a perfect time to pray for others as well as address individual needs and know that God is listening. We are invited to come and rest, be still, and refresh.
