Our Pastor

 

 

Fr. Patrick O’Loughlin was born in Milwaukee and raised in New Berlin, WI. He devotes time to caring for his parents, has two brothers and one sister, and is the proud uncle of three nephews and three nieces. He attended Thomas More High School in St. Francis before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Classics from Xavier University and a Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in Greek and Latin literature. He completed doctoral studies at the University of Chicago, before pursuing the priesthood. Fr. O’Loughlin attended Saint Francis de Sales Seminary, St. Francis, where he earned a Master of Divinity and was ordained in 1999.

Fr. O’Loughlin became the pastor of St. Matthew, Oak Creek in 2008, adding pastor of St. Mary by the Lake to his priestly responsibilities in 2016.

He reads as much as he can, and listens to the sound of his own voice as little as he can... Thus the creation of this page by his pastoral staff.
